OUR STORY
Built in Sacramento, for Sacramento.
Double Move began with a simple frustration. Too many movers in our region treated customers like transactions: surprise fees on move day, untrained crews, and damaged furniture that no one wanted to take responsibility for.
So we built the opposite. Double Move is a locally owned, fully licensed and insured California moving company with career movers on W-2 payroll, transparent all-inclusive pricing, and a foreman on every job who treats your home the way you’d treat it yourself.
Today, we run more local moves in Sacramento than almost any other independent mover, and our 4.9★ rating across thousands of reviews tells us we’re doing it right.
Double Move LLC is licensed by the California Public Utilities Commission as a Household Goods Carrier (CPUC MTR0192712) and registered with the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT 4027902).

What Customers Say
The double move guys were great! Really careful with all our items. Moved our 3 bedrooms and 2 bath to a 2 story house without a problem. Highly recommend. Moved our safe too for a really reasonable price.
Sergei was that and more. We started of with the original moving company very rough and stressful. Sergei from Double Move was absolutely amazing. Thank you for restoring our faith in humanity.
The guys at double move were amazing! They wrapped everything and treated our stuff with so much care, made sure everything was where we would like it in each room upon arrival, and communicated throughout the whole thing to make sure we were satisfied. Will definitely be using them again for any future moves!
Fantastic job, super professional and friendly on the hottest day of the year so far! We had many challenges and they rose to the occasional. I would definitely recommend to family/friends!
I used double move company to help me move from Sacramento to Hayward. They were professional and on time. They helped me move my boxes and furniture without any problems. I gladly appreciate their services and highly recommend them.
Hey these guys were great! They were super helpful, kind, respectful, funny and safety conscious. They were constantly moving, keeping things going. For an hourly rate this what you want to see. They were up front with costs and expectations.
Same as last time our company used the Double Movers, LLC they were on time, professional and quickly moved all furniture from 2 apts, each in a different complex and loaded it all into a moving truck and did it in 5½ hrs.
Evan and Serge were excellent. Very efficient and fast. All around easy and great move. They made sure everything was secure, safe, and wrapped. They moved all of my furniture into a 10×10 and did a great job “playing Tetris” so also very adaptable. Highly recommend these guys!
This is our second time using this moving company, and I couldn’t recommend them highly enough. They have always been very prompt and on time, good communication, very capable and quick, taking good care of our belongings so that nothing gets damaged.
Serge and his partner were very professional and courteous. Plastic wrapped everything. Boxed up the TVs and Art Work. Went out of their way to drop off a refrigerator at my son’s house on the way to our new place. Would recommend them.
I was a bit stressed out with my move but Double Move made it easy. The crew (Vitalii, Arslan, Vlad) arrived on time and worked very efficiently. They placed everything where I wanted and were done moving my 4-bedroom home in less than 3 hours.
Double Move and their move-in services were fantastic. They packed up our old place in Roseville and moved everything over to Davis in the same day. They were communicative, careful, and made sure that we had everything we needed. Would definitely use them again.
Serge was Great!!! This is my first time using moving service ever and it was fantastic experience! Serge and his team was professional and friendly! Definitely recommend Double Move service!
I have used other moving companies before with not so happy results. But today this company, Double Movers, was excellent! They shrink wrapped our precious furniture including an old grandfathers clock. I would highly refer them to everyone.
These movers were excellent and I highly recommend them. Very professional and friendly. I lived upstairs and moved to an upstairs and they handle it with ease. Excellent company to work with.
They helped me move in Carmichael, CA and Daniel and his crew were amazing. So polite, so quick and efficient and really good guys! They take direction really well. Would use again!!!
The team took excellent care of my furniture and were incredibly thorough in wrapping everything. They were efficient throughout the day and navigated a two-story move with ease. Every piece arrived in perfect condition, and it was clear they treated my belongings with real attention and respect. Highly recommend.
Sergei, Benjamin and Alex were amazing!!! They made my move effortless. They packed and moved everything with great care, and took extreme caution with my breakables ensuring nothing was damaged. They were hands down the best movers I’ve ever had, and I will be using them again in the future! Thank you guys! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
These guys busted their tails off for two days straight to help our company move from one office to another. They moved a warehouse of items into our new office space with a smile and I could not ask for better job well done. If you need help with anything, Double Move are the right guys for the job!!
These guys were great! They showed up on time, wrapped and loaded everything, consolidated smaller boxes into a bigger box. They took great care with everything. I really appreciated all that they did and how quick they were despite the flight of stairs. I highly recommend them for your next move!
Double Move is the absolute best decision to make when moving. My wife and I recently had our new son (6 days old) and I needed some help with the move. The team was professional and fun to work with. I will be recommending them to everyone.
Had to schedule a move last minute and they showed up the next day. They did a great job, everything got moved with no accidents and they made sure to put everything exactly where I wanted it.
Would highly recommend!! The team was very punctual, had great communication throughout, and reasonably priced after getting multiple estimates. The estimate really came close and they know what they are doing. Everyone was polite, helpful, and trustworthy- thank you so much!!
